For the last decade, he led AbbVie Japan to great success as its General Manager, and was a breakthrough leader in industry advocacy. Fluent in Japanese, he is an expert at bridging global and local perspectives, crystalizing decisions and driving execution.​
James truly enjoys helping promising leaders learn and grow in their roles. He is certified as an executive coach and is a member of the Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches organization. He also has a proven track record designing and implementing strategies for creating engaged workplaces, including leading AbbVie to multiple industry-leading rankings such as Great Place to Work.
